My artistic endeavour is an act of bringing something internal to the surface, of giving form to thoughts and feelings that might otherwise remain unseen. In this work, I created an etching over top of which I superimposed a work on washi with suminigashi. Together I hope to convey a state of wholeness inside and out.
I remember with fondness our dear member Gwen Tooth, whose canvases exuded expressiveness!
