After graduating from York University with my MFA, I was so happy to find a place to show my work and meet other artists in the city. I had moved from Winnipeg to Toronto to do grad school and knew no one and had never been to the big city. Propeller was a welcoming and supportive community of artists, and looking back now I wish I had continued my membership after leaving Toronto in 2004. Excited to be part of this anniversary exhibition!
