I enjoy stretching, creating and getting newly shaped. Having already experienced a multitude of arts environments and cultures, I have few preconceived notions about art. However, looking for new materials to speak visually always appeals. I found material that I had not specifically used before. Old cedar, blown glass, and up cycled fabric. The deviation from my typical practice emerged as “Hope Hangs Around a Murky Crystal Ball”. It is not an abstract collage or a quirky animal from within my comfort zone but more of a metaphorical assembly, a fresh way to express myself with mixed media?
