My journey with Propeller started in November 2007. My studio mate Frances Ferdinands suggested we apply for an exhibition together when Propeller was on Queen West. We did. It was not only a success, but a revelation on how dynamic and wonderful the gallery members were. I shortly after that became a member too. Their energy, their ideas, their support and their involvement taught me so much. In 2010, when I had my first solo show there, they agreed that I could erect a real hydro pole, floor to ceiling, in the gallery; yes, the members welcomed ground-breaking ideas to come to life. And still do.
