I joined Propeller in 2009 and my artistic career has greatly benefited from it. I have been active on the board for several years, serving as Chair of Membership (past and current), Chair of Propeller for 2 years (during the pandemics) and also Chair of Partnership. It has been most rewarding to work with Propeller members and learn all the aspects of preparing for an exhibition. Working together in planning a group show, participating in intake or installation, sharing board meetings with dedicated and knowledgeable members, has forged long-time friendships, responsible for the strength and survival of Propeller. Happy 30th and many more years to come as a unique collective for artists!
