Cascade is one of my first attempts at combining somewhat opposite materials, washi (Yame Kozo Hadura) and wire into a finished piece. I wanted to create the illusion of movement in the work. The covered washi wire forms can be slightly moved when gently handled.The work can be hung vertically or horizontally from magnets countersunk into the back of the wood support. I am interested in expanding on this concept further.
