I started entering juried shows at Propeller a couple of years before the Pandemic threw everything upside down. My pieces were accepted and admired, I spoke at the Artist Talks, and met a fabulous group of people. I was encouraged to consider membership only to have the possibility of attending by transit (I live Northeast of Toronto and don’t drive) thrown into the trash in the panic that descended. Slowly the infrastructure started to be repaired and I was able to get to Toronto again (although not yet as before as our GO buses remain cancelled). Back to Propeller’s juried shows and also selling pieces, I considered joining this great group again and when a friend of mine also was tempted, we joined together on the latest membership drive and I have been getting to know and enjoy more of the members with each involvement. Looking forward to the future!
