I joined Propeller in 1996. I was the first member not a part of the “OCAD Graduate Family”. I was welcomed with open arms and felt appreciated and seen. WE had many group shows and meetings about how we would function as a group, looking for consensus but happy with a democratic process. I left the group in 2001 to raise to children. I rejoined in 2025 and felt even more welcomed if that is at all possible. I WILL CATCH YOU – was made in the interim years away from Propeller but the sentiment is very much how I feel about Propeller. I feel cared for, protected, and I am wanting to do the same for others. The Mary Series is all about the Universal Mother in all of us.
