This series pays Homage to Pacita Abad. These works are all about mixing media and layering. The work consists of several layers of large format monoprints with added layering of stamped patterns to create a varied surface. Floss, yarn and trim are then sewn on top. The last step is beadwork and casting of various seeds, figures and script to enhance and interact with the previous layers of ink and yarn.
