Arrivederci, Michelangelo, Ciao is a series of six large drawings. It originated in a dream in which figures (mostly minor ones from the Sistine Chapel) turned into birds and flew away in search of different realities. The drawings describe a process of dissolution and regeneration in the service of freedom, artistic and otherwise.
