Inspiration comes from materials I have on hand. The recycled eyeglasses I am working with at the moment suggest many themes to do with vision, surveillance, focus, privacy, foretelling. Making the Bugs in my Bug series is fun, but take note, they are watching what’s happening in the world, on the street, in homes, and they know that they will outlive humans should the human race go extinct.
This many-eyed Bug has great vision and is very busy keeping track of what’s going on 😊
