Hawk Hill is a double exposure of a hill in High Park under a prescribed burn. The city of Toronto started prescribed burns in several parks in the west end, using the historical method that people used to use fire to clear fields and control invasive species. The fire helps the oak acorns germinate in order to restore the Oak Savannahs of Ontario.
