Dark Matter was created in the darkroom using just the very basics of photography – light and light sensitive chemicals. Using a very small pen-light, I flashed the photo paper with the pen-light as the paper was developing in the developer tray. I also dripped chemicals onto the photo paper before it was placed in the was developing tray, creating an abstract image. I first met Gwen Tooth at Gallery 1313 where she was showing some very interesting landscapes. I invited Gwen to the Propeller Gallery’s Salon Exhibition, which she accepted. Gwen was very pleased with her experience at Propeller and became a member!
