Elizabeth created a number of portraits of Dr. James Till and Dr. Ernest McCulloch, co-discoverers of the stem cell in Canada . The paintings were created to honour the history of and importance of the discovery Stem Cell science and Open Access. This year marks the passing of the great scientist and physician Dr. James Till. Furthering the Art/ Medicine connection, Elizabeth participated in the show of the discovery of the Stem Cell in Canada, “ Pluripotent”, where the portraits of the discoverers of the Stem Cell were exhibited at the Museum of Medical History in Kingston , Ontario.
