Propeller Gallery is a vibrant community that welcomed me warmly in 2011. It was a time in my life and career when I needed confidence. There is a core group of members who have made the gallery what it is today, an important independent part of Toronto’s art scene. My time at Propeller gave me purpose and confidence, which led me to complete an MFA at OCAD in 2019. I held my graduating exhibition and defence at the gallery. Then life changed dramatically with the birth of my first grandson in Chicago, and a renewed art career working in a new medium. I no longer had the time and dedication worthy of Propeller. Thank you, Propeller!
