Salon 19 asks that artists submit work that we consider our best or are a personal favourite. While I don’t consider my own judgement of my work to be the last word, I nonetheless feel that this is one of my best. The reasons are personal: I was quite unsure of where I was going with this piece, or where it was taking me, so I was full of inquiry. This is a fertile state. I learned a great deal from finally bringing this piece to to resolution, to its destination.
