Years ago I had imagined working with cardboard. In my mind’s eye I saw potential in creating within the various nooks and crannies of this material. Then I thought about the corrugation tubes themselves. What if I injected paint into the tubes and then cut the tubes open, wouldn’t that be, as well, an interesting element to play with. RedYellowBlue is all about injecting the grooves with paint and then displaying colour by slicing open the grooves.
