Lines and organic shapes are a constant in my work.I see the picture plane as a form of documentation and often present my works as maps, parchments or documents. I make drawings in mixed media on layered paper, parchment and canvas, or simply paint. The images in my work range from abstract to figurative, but in style they are constant.

Currently, my work deals with environmental themes, such as the wildfires in BC and Alberta, or volcanoes. These disastrous events allow for spectacular visual interpretations and hopefully help create an awareness of the vulnerability of our planet.
