Where is Wild Continues is a group of paper works centred on the question “What is the non-human reality in this Anthropocene digital age? I am responding to our understanding that human technology has not just changed our relationship with animals but changed their (our) environment forever. What does this mean to them?”
Susan Farquhar is an experienced fine art printmaker who studied at the University of Guelph and York University. She began exhibiting in the 1980s while becoming a professional fine art printer in lithography at Open Studio. Susan continued to work collaboratively in printmaking until 2013 when she and her husband Robert Game closed their studio Atelier GF where they produced editions for artists from Canada, Europe and the United States. Throughout this period she worked and exhibited print works. Printmaking continues to influence Susan’s current process-based artwork on canvas, wood panel and lately paper relief constructs.
