An informal event to share thoughts about Propeller, with a performance by Cesar Forero at 3:30 PM. All are welcome.

Propeller 30: An Exhibition of Members and Alumni is a love letter to the rich history of Propeller, celebrating 30 years of success – the brave visionary artists who launched it, and those who have continued to nurture it throughout the years.

The exhibition features 77 works from 77 artists – 45 members and 32 alumni – spanning from the earliest years of the founding of Propeller to our newest member. Artworks include older works and newer, a wide variety of mediums – joined together only by the shared passion for Propeller. Accompanying Artists’ Statements reflect on the connections and importance of Propeller to each artist’s career.

In addition to the events listed above, the celebration includes the publication of a book by Anna Dopico celebrating the first 30 years, a slide show curated by Tiffany Duong and T-shirts commemorating the exhibition and the gallery. All graphics by the remarkable keijo tapanainen.
