“PPOP! is a group show curated by James Waley and Ruth Tait. “PPOP! is an acronym for “Paintings, Panels, and Other Pursuits!” and underlies the theme of this show: a gathering and a celebration of comic book artwork and the unflagging creativity of Canadian comic book artists in their many other artistic endeavours whether in areas of film, sculpture, painting, drawing or installation.
“This show crosses boundaries in art appraisal and ranges across 3+ generations of sequential art creators.”
