The rage against the machine(s) we created!
Without even asking if we want another piece of toast or plan to vacuum later, artist Andres Vosu raided our home sweet homes to hijack our household appliances making them elemental for his series Object Versus Subject.
Through artistic alchemy, Vosu transforms appliances into metaphors representing the machinery of politics, culture and war.
An atomic iron, a kettle that spews out clouded information, and a vacuum that sucks and awes are just a few of the quirky images that Andres Vosu uses in his portrayal of the human condition.
