My work explores the intersection of form and line—between the three-dimensional presence of shape and the quiet precision of the two-dimensional mark. I am drawn to the curve as a gesture that holds both movement and stillness, revealing how the simplest juxtapositions can evoke emotion, suggest a narrative, and define a moment. Through the dialogue between volume and contour, I seek to create spaces where meaning emerges not from complexity, but from the subtle tension and harmony of relationships.
Sculpture and drawing have been central to my life since my late teens, shaping the way I see and understand the world. My creative path led me to a fulfilling career as a ceramist and potter, where working with clay became both a profession and a lifelong practice. Today, my practice brings together the sensitivity and discipline developed through years of making with an ongoing exploration of sculpture and drawing, where form, line, and the expressive potential of the curve continue to inspire my work.
