“The invention of the automobile has given us a constant outlet to express our love and innovative prowess for power and speed. At no other time in the history of the car was this more apparent than in North America during the 1960’s and early 1970’s – the ‘muscle car era’. The ‘Big Three’ automakers put big, powerful engines into small and intermediate sized cars at an affordable price. This is the definition of a musclecar. The right economic conditions and all of the models of musclecar offered by the Big Three started a phenomenon that will never happen again.
My passion and goal has been to use basic, straight forward art principles to represent these highly sought after, and at times rare, automobiles as art. It is my ultimate desire to create a very large body of work that will cover the three important eras of North American automotive history.“
