Submission Guidelines for Non-members
Interested in planning your next exhibition at Propeller?
Propeller is a dynamic artist-run centre interested in a wide spectrum of visual arts practices. Our location in the heart of the West Queen West gallery district combined with a long history of exhibitions ensures continued public interest and critical notice.
Propeller provides artists at all stages of their careers, the opportunity to exhibit in a professional gallery venue. All exhibition proposals are reviewed on an ongoing basis by the Programming Committee.
Exhibition Proposal Application Process
When evaluating exhibition proposal applications, consideration is given to:
- the quality of the work
- the level of professionalism
- a demonstrated commitment to the visual arts
The applicant should have a clear and concise summary of their proposed theme, exhibition dates, funding, and participating parties.
Availability of gallery space will depend on current bookings. All submissions will be reviewed by Propeller’s Programming Committee.

- Please note that all exhibitions are subject to a rental fee. Review our fee schedule here.
- Sales made through exhibiting at Propeller are subject to a 30% commission (for non-members).
