In this episode, Behrad Motekallem discusses his vividly rendered, evocative work.Imaginative interpretations of his perspective of the world, dance in oil on canvas. Latin music, the discipline of creating daily, and trusting one’s instincts, all play an important role.
Behrad is an Iranian-Canadian artist based in Montréal, Quebec. Born 1996 in Tehran his allegoric paintings are visually informed in equal parts by classical painting traditions and contemporary life.
