The Museum of Northern History in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, welcomes world-renowned Master Chen Cheng-Hsun as the international guest artist to the 14th Contemporary Art Exhibition in July 2023. In Partnership with the Museum of Northern History, the Contemporary Art Committee, Ontario Society of Artists, Propeller Art Gallery and the Gardiner Museum welcome the opportunity to host an evening with this amazing ceramic artist.
Master Chen Cheng-Hsun is a Taiwanese artist, well recognized for his ingenious work and the museum he built to house his numerous creations and his studio. His works can be seen in many museums, public and private collections around the globe. He is a graduate of the Department of Sculpture, National Taiwan Academy of Arts and the Modern Ceramics National (Monographic Study), Madrid, Spain.
A video sponsored by the Contemporary Art Committee will be shown, followed by a presentation by the artist, and a discussion with attendees.
