We are located at 30 Abell Street, in the heart of Toronto’s West Queen West Gallery District. View the map
There is a paid Green-P parking garage across the street, and paid parking is available on Queen and Abell Streets. Please note there is no parking on Abell Street or on Queen street during rush hours.

The 501 Queen streetcar runs along Queen Street. It’s a short walk along Abell Street to the Gallery.
Go Transit + 15-minute walk
Take a Go train to Exhibition station and walk north on Atlantic Avenue to King Street, turn right onto King Street then turn left onto Sudbury Street. This will take you to Abell Street. Turn right and Propeller will be on your left

Yes, most of the works displayed are for sale. Works that are for sale will have prices displayed. Please also visit our online shop to view art for sale.
We accept all major credit cards in the Gallery and through our online shop. You can also pay by cash, cheque, debit or etransfer.
Propeller offers event rentals for one-off events and programming in the evening. We welcome creative professionals to hold events at the gallery that complement our regular exhibitions and encourage public engagement.
Propeller accepts interns for Fall, Winter, and Summer terms each term lasting approx. 3-4 months. If you are interested in interning with Propeller please contact us
Propeller accepts submissions for membership on an ongoing basis. The Selection Committee reviews all applications quarterly basis.
Yes, as a non-member you can rent gallery space. Please note all gallery rentals are subject to our submission process. For more information please see Gallery Rentals.
You can find any of the gallery Calls for Submissions on our website. If you subscribe to our email list you will be notified via email about any upcoming Calls for Entry.
Yes, the gallery takes a 20% commission for members and 30% for non-members on any artwork sold at the gallery.
Propeller is an artist-run gallery. As such, all members are required to be active in the ongoing running of the Centre. Members are asked to put in time to support the exciting events that occur at Propeller.
Although all exhibitions are closely monitored Propeller is not responsible for any damages of theft that might occur to art work.
