30 Celebrating 30 Years of Propeller is a 92-page publication authored by Anna Dopico to celebrate Propeller’s 30th anniversary in 2026. It was released for the launch of Propeller 30: An Exhibition of Members and Alumni (August 19 – September 6, 2026), which honoured Propeller’s 30 years of success – the brave visionary artists who launched it, and those who have continued to nurture it throughout the years.
Our Secretary, Anna Dopico, wrote this incredible book that shares the story of the gallery from the beginning, in 1996, when OCAD students banded together to hold their own show, to today. The journey is shared from the perspective of its members, and through its words and members’ quotes, it captures the spirit of generosity, passion, curiosity, and community. The book is design-forward and offers 92 pages of photos, graphics and words that bring the gallery to life on every page.
